Fountain Square Lights Up the Holiday Tree
Don't miss the opening of the holiday season as Fountain Square sponsors the annual lighting of the holiday tree on Friday, November 26, 7 PM at Macy's Light Up the Square.

Exciting activities includes a 65 foot tree with over 20,000 white lights and a 5-foot tall red star, Music from Q102, fireworks after the lighting and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus.

Visit the Square every Saturday night as Santa climbs the walls of Macy's across the street from the Square.

Kick off the Holiday Season in Cincinnati

Fountain Square is the place to be on November Fountain Square - Cincinnati 27 at 7 PM as the switch is thrown to light up the Square. Festivities begin at 6:30 PM and Santa will be paying a visit. The tree will stand 60 feet tall and have over 20,000 lights. After lighting up the tree, fireworks will add to the celebration.

Also, opening on the Square that weekend is the ice skating rink. It is approximately the size of New York's Rockefeller Center's rink with everything you need to set out around the rink surrounded by Cincinnati's tall buildings.

You might want to make an evening of it by dining in one of the restaurants surrounding the Square and finishing off the evening with chocolate chip ice cream (or my personal favorite, raspberry chip) at Graeter's.
