Arts Wave Sampler Weekends
Arts Wave (formerly the Fine Arts Fund) is again sponsoring
Sampler Weekends...with the emphasis on the plural weekends. As part of their emphasis on taking the arts to the communities throughout the region, the events have been expanded to encompass six weekends.
So now, you have many more opportunities to celebrate the music, dance, theater, museum and festival offerings around the area. So take your friends, family, children or neighbors in hand and plan on some special fun. Best of all, it's FREE!
Events for April 23rd that caught my eye include:
1-4 pm - Pones, Inc - group helps children make masks and dance
1 pm - Tracy Walker Band
3 pm - Nalanda School of Dance
4 pm -Curator tour of Keith Haring's work
1-4 pm - Make a card for Bill's Birthday
2 pm - In Love with Shakespeare - Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents Bill's best love scenes
3 pm - Catacoustic Concert - music of Shakespeare's time
3 pm - Bill's Birthday Party - as in "Bill" Shakespeare
1 pm - Ceol Mhor - Celtic, Scottish and Welsh music
3:30 pm - My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus
12:30-5 pm - Vanishing Cincinnati Exhibit
