Ursuline Academy, CincinnatiGerber Analytics recently released its study " Top Academic Ohio High School Report - 2010.  Three of the top 10 are in Cincinnati.

Created by Columbus resident, Scott Gerber, the rankings are based upon student's scores on the 2010 test required of all Ohio schools, public, private and parochial.  For his purposes, only the scores of sophomores were considered.  In order to qualify for the second round of Seven Hills School, Cincinnatijudging, at least 91% of the sophomores had to score as proficient on all five sections of the test.

Walnut Hills High School, CincinnatiThe three local schools in the top 10 were Ursuline Academy at number two, Seven Hills at number three and Walnut Hills at number nine. Ursuline Academy is a Catholic girls school in Blue Ash. Seven Hills is a private school with the high School located in Madisonville.  Walnut Hills is a Cincinnati Public School.  It is the only public school in the state that ranks in the top 10.  All three of the schools ranked in the top 10 last year as well.

Wow...the school competition in Cincinnati is really tough!  Aren't we lucky!
