Father's Day Activities - June 19
The Blue Manatee Bookstore on Madison Road in Oakley will be hosting a
special Father's Day event. Called Pallin' with Pa, the event allows fathers and their children to paint a birdhouse together. Fathers will be able to enjoy coffee or tea and maybe read a fun book to their children. The event is designed for children 4-12 years old. Pre-registration is required.
If you have a baseball fanatic in your family, consider the Father's Day Catch. After the game with the Cincinnati Reds against the Toronto Blue Jays at 1:10 PM, children and their fathers will be allowed to play catch on the field of the Great American Ballpark. Tickets include two Field Box tickets, post-game field pass, authentic batting practice-used baseball and commemorative certificate.This is a once in a lifetime fundraiser benefiting the Reds Community Fund. Expensive, but FUN!
