Beautiful table settings, yummy salads and unusual centerpieces were featured at the Hats Off Luncheon held at the new park in downtown Cincinnati.  Held at the Cincinnati Riverfront Park on the Jacob G. Schmidlapp Stage and Event Lawn, it was the first event to celebrate the new park.hats Off Luncheon - Cincinnati Parks

From the Lawn, you look one way and see the new Banks building and another way to see the Reds ballpark and the new Great American building with its crown on top.  Looking out over the Ohio River, you get a whole new view of the Suspension Bridge.

A group of us had great fun, even in the rain.  The tent blew down the night before and park employees rallied to get it ready that night and morning.  Straw had to be put down because of the mud and a number of us wore boots and Crocks with our fancy hats.  Pictured above are Cathy Carmichael, Chris Dalambakis, Saralou Durham, Angie Carl and Judy Dalambakis.
