Oxford, Ohio Named to Smartest Cities List                   Miami University Alumni Hall

Lumosity.com has named Oxford, Ohio to its list of the 50 smartest places in the United States.  When analyzing 1,309 U.S. cities, Oxford finished as the 16th smartest. Interestingly, the other top cities include many other university towns, Stanford, CA. came in number one, Princeton, N.J. number 2, Storr, CT (University of Connecticut home) at Number 3 and Cambridge, Mass. at Number 5.

Luminosity.com is the website for Lumos Labs, a cognitive training and neuroscience research site in San Francisco.  In order to determine the rankings, more than 3.3 million people between the ages of 15 and 85 took part in five training exercises on their website.  Categories were speed, attention, flexibility, memory and problem solving.  They then averaged the brain score among residents of each city.
